Here we go again another day of
counting calories right? Wrong! There is a
scientific formula that has to do with your age and activity
level that is used to determine how many calories you should
eat per day. I personally think calorie counting is
unnecessary since no two people are exactly alike physically
and when it comes to eating. Have you ever heard a saying
like, "my friend can eat a piece of cake and not gain one
pound, but if I eat one I'll gain 10 pounds".
There are many factors that are
involved, when one is prone to gaining weight in the form of
fat. For example, genetics hormones, metabolism, body
composition, and of course eating habits. It is not how
many calories you eat, it is where the calories come from that
matters. Every time you eat, you must not fill yourself
up. Leave the table when you are just satisfied, but not
completely full. You must eat only enough food so that
you are hungry again in two to three hours, and the food must
be low in fat, so you can accomplish this. Remember
this, high fat foods will keep you full longer. Some people
cannot determine when they are reaching the full point and
continue eating until it is too late and they are already
full. This is where the common sense comes in. The
key is to eat only small portion sizes. For example, a serving
of vegetables should be about the size of your fist in a
serving of chicken breast should be about the size of your
palm. If a serving like this does not satisfy you,
that's okay, eat again in about two hours repeating the
process with a variety of foods. Eat five to six meals
throughout the day. From my experience it is those who are
extremely overweight who are unable to detect when to stop
eating before they are full. However, eventually, the
body will adapt to this lifestyle of eating an eventually shed
unwanted weight so fast you will not believe your eyes.
As I mentioned earlier, it is what
you eat that is more important than counting calories.
All my weight loss programs are tailored to fit your lifestyle
and I will teach you how to read nutrition labels so you can
distinguish the good foods from one's that may hinder your
weight loss progress. If you happen to eat what might be
referred to as a weight loss hindering food, eat small portion
sizes on occasion. If your body craves it and you can't
resist, eat it. Just don't over do it.
So many people try to lose weight on their own
and unfortunately suffer the consequences by negatively altering their
metabolism, thyroid, and hormonal function. When this occurs
weight loss
becomes impossible and no diets will work. Let Johnnie help YOU today!
